Sunset in the St Louis Zoo
I do love trying to capture sunrises/sunsets when I am out with the camera...and here's sunset from the St Louis Zoo. The bare trees and the fading light evoked a gentle melancholy in me that was easily dispelled by the return to a warm, lighted home...

Welcome Deepa! To both the 'States & to Blogger! That is a lovely photo, with the sun nibbling so delicately at that branch. But I am still chuckling about your favorite American food coming from Subway. We have only one fast food franchise here on Vashon Island... yes, a Subway... still, because we pride ourselves on eschewing any but more homegrown business, many of us would not eat there on some principle which might not hold when we visit the city so nearby... I have eaten at Subway & did find it acceptable as fast food. But, here on the Left Coast we have salad & veggies from any number of markets & local farms or gardens which do not exist in the same abundance mid-country, particularly at this season. Please keep looking... but, still, I am very pleased that you have found a source for food you like in the US.
